Terms of Use

These terms explain how you may use Balearic Yacht Charter, the enquiry tools, destination content and charter planning information on balearicyacht.com.

Effective date: June 3, 2026

1. Who We Are

Balearic Yacht Charter operates this website as a destination-led yacht charter planning and enquiry service for the Balearic Islands. References to "we", "us" and "our" mean the operator of this website. References to "you" mean any person who accesses, browses, submits an enquiry through, or otherwise uses this website.

This website is intended to help visitors research yacht charter options, routes, destinations and availability. It does not by itself create a yacht charter booking, brokerage agreement, travel contract or other paid service contract.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or submit an enquiry.

We may update these terms from time to time by publishing a revised version on this page. The version displayed when you use the website applies to that use.

3. Access to the Website

Access to this website is provided free of charge and on a temporary basis. We may update, suspend, withdraw or change any part of the website without notice.

We do not guarantee that the website, its content, enquiry forms, search tools or integrations will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free or secure.

4. Yacht Information, Prices and Availability

Yacht descriptions, imagery, routes, sample itineraries, destination notes, availability indications and pricing information are provided for general planning purposes only.

Charter rates, delivery fees, fuel, APA, VAT, local taxes, security deposits, crew terms, embarkation points, guest limits, yacht specifications and availability may change without notice and must be confirmed in writing before any booking commitment.

Any final charter proposal, contract, payment schedule, cancellation terms and operational restrictions will be provided by the relevant broker, central agent, yacht owner, operator or other professional partner involved in the booking.

5. Enquiries and Broker Partners

When you submit an enquiry, you agree that we may use the information provided to review your request, prepare a shortlist, contact you, and coordinate with suitable professional yacht charter partners.

Your enquiry details may be shared with selected broker partners, central agents, yacht managers, operators or service providers where this is reasonably necessary to answer your request or progress a potential charter.

Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee availability, price, acceptance by a yacht, or completion of a booking. No deposit or charter payment should be made unless you have reviewed and accepted the relevant written booking documents.

6. Your Responsibilities

You must use this website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not damage, overload, impair or interfere with the website or another user's experience.

You must not introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, scrape the website at scale, use automated systems to extract content or data, impersonate another person, submit false information, or use enquiry forms for spam or unrelated commercial solicitation.

If you submit information through the website, you confirm that it is accurate, that you are entitled to share it, and that we may use it for the purposes described in these terms.

7. Intellectual Property

The website design, text, page structure, original content, branding, selection of destinations and other materials are protected by intellectual property rights owned by us or licensed to us.

You may view and download website content for your own personal research. You must not copy, republish, frame, sell, scrape, modify, distribute or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission from the relevant rights holder.

Third-party names, yacht names, images, logos and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on the website does not imply endorsement unless expressly stated.

8. External Links and Third Parties

This website may link to third-party websites, associations, brokers, yacht operators, booking partners, social platforms or resources. Those links are provided for convenience and context only.

We are not responsible for third-party websites, policies, services, advice, contracts, yacht operations, payments or communications. Any transaction or booking with a third party is between you and that third party.

9. Analytics, Cookies and Communications

We may use privacy-conscious analytics and technical tools to understand website performance, improve pages and measure enquiry activity. These tools may collect usage information such as visited pages, referrers, device information and event interactions.

If you contact us or submit an enquiry, we may use your contact details to respond, follow up about your request, coordinate with relevant partners and keep records of the enquiry process.

10. No Professional Advice

Content on this website is provided for general information and planning inspiration. It is not legal, financial, insurance, safety, tax, immigration, medical, weather or navigation advice.

Before making a charter commitment, you should review the relevant contract documents and obtain specialist advice where appropriate.

11. Warranties and Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties, representations or guarantees of accuracy, completeness, availability or fitness for a particular purpose.

We are not liable for losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website; reliance on website content; changes to yacht availability or prices; third-party acts or omissions; internet failures; viruses; or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

12. General Terms

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply.

The law and jurisdiction applicable to any confirmed yacht charter will be stated in the final booking documents issued by the relevant broker, owner, operator or contracting party. For website-related questions, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the matter directly.

Trust & booking clarity

Professional brokers, clear terms and a person you can reach.

We help guests move from enquiry to booking with the right checks in place: suitable yachts, transparent terms, safety context and partner brokers who understand professional charter standards.

Learn about MYBA

Vetted broker partners

Your request is reviewed with professional charter partners, including brokers who are members of MYBA The Worldwide Yachting Association when the yacht, contract or market requires it.

Clear booking terms

Before a deposit, you see the yacht, route assumption, inclusions, exclusions, payment schedule, cancellation terms and any APA, VAT, fuel or delivery notes.

Safety-led planning

Crew, insurance, weather, guest comfort, tender access and local captain decisions are treated as part of the booking, not details to solve on the day.

Human contact

A charter expert stays visible from enquiry to shortlist, with email or WhatsApp follow-up when timing, routes or guest needs change.

Booking FAQ

Who handles the yacht booking?

We qualify the request, then coordinate with suitable charter broker partners so availability, terms and negotiation are handled through professional charter channels.

What is checked before I pay?

The shortlist should clarify the exact yacht, dates, guest count, boarding point, route, price assumptions, inclusions, exclusions and payment conditions.

How do MYBA member brokers help?

MYBA is a recognised professional association in superyachting. Working with MYBA-member brokers helps align complex charters with established professional standards and widely used charter documentation.
